Villa Interior

Experience three centuries of Apulian history in Villa della Vergine. Upon entry, a large living room and kitchen – well-appointed with the region’s traditional furnishings – greets you with a vibe that oozes history and beautiful Italian craftsmanship. A shaded pergola, a place where you can experience delicious alfresco dining, is privately accessible from this room.

The spacious first floor, confidently designed with typical Puglian antiques, houses a double bedroom and twin room as well as a shared bathroom with bath. An annex is attached to the main house where a double bedroom, styled with a dab of history and simplicity, is located along with a bathroom and shower. A kitchenette is also available for your use. A stone staircase within this annex leads to an upstairs terrace overlooking the pool and the panoramic countryside. An air-conditioned double bedroom with private bathroom, shower and kitchen combines the best of the architectural old with the pleasurable amenities of the new.

Only 2km from the gorgeous Castellana Grotte, Villa della Vergine is close to other picturesque points of interest such as Monopoli, Polignano a Mare and Alberobello. Being surrounded by a panoramic garden of greenery, a large pool with Jacuzzi and an expansive outdoor living space, makes stepping out of this Puglia villa definitely challenging. There are plenty of shady areas for lounging and relaxing thanks to a pergola with sofas and a BBQ facility, as well as a small church with frescoes and an altar.
