Villa Betta is the beautiful result of the renovation of two old houses built from Sicilian stone. There are rustic touches throughout the villa, with exposed-stone walls and wood-beam ceilings adding an authentic traditional feel to every room.
The main entrance on the ground floor opens onto an expansive room which contrasts brightly coloured furniture against the muted natural colours of the stone walls. There’s a modern dining table with seating for six people, and a kitchen that offers a full range of cooking and dining equipment. The space opens out onto a terrace.
Also on the ground floor is a warmly furnished double bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
A flight of glass stairs leads to an open gallery in which a cosy living room is nestled. Here you’ll find a mixture of comfy sofas and leather tub chairs, along with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.
Off the gallery is another en suite bedroom with a double bed and a glass door that opens onto a balcony.
In the other wing of the house, you’ll find another two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms; one has a double bed while the other has twin beds. Up the stairs are two more en suite bedrooms with double beds and their own balconies; one also has a daybed.
Villa Betta was designed to make the most of it magnificent background – everything about this wonderful house is meant to make its guests feel one with their serene surroundings.
From the front gate of the villa runs a wide stone-paved path parallel to the driveway, which can accommodate up to four cars. Right at the front of the villa is a covered terrace illuminated at night by a canopy of lights. Just above it is a glass-paneled balcony.
The villa’s kitchen opens onto an expansive dining terrace, with plenty of room for 12 people. Take a few steps up and you’ll be on another furnished terrace with sunbeds.
At the back of Villa Bella is a sprawling, stone-paved space surrounded by a sumptuously verdant Mediterranean garden. Right in the centre is a beautiful swimming pool flanked by a deck with sunbeds and loungers. There’s also a balcony overlooking the garden and pool, and furnished with comfy lounging furniture.
