Villa Interior
Spread across three floors, Villa Sofia offers light-filled spaces with plenty of room for up to ten guests. Built in 2015, the villa has the casual elegance of a newly built house and the charm of a cosily furnished home, with its exposed-timber ceilings, hardwood floors and modern furnishings.
The main floor of the villa is the first floor, and the front door opens to a large open-plan living room. There’s an airy lounge area with a big, comfortable sofa and a flat-screen TV, and farther on is a dining area with room for ten people. The combination of wood and glass furnishings gives the living room a rustic charm. There’s a sleek white kitchen decorated with country-style crockery and featuring a range of modern culinary gadgets. There’s also a cosy breakfast bar. Glass doors let plenty of light in, and lead to an outdoor terrace.
There are two bedrooms on this floor – one with a king bed, the other with twin beds, and both with en suite showers and direct access to the garden.
Go up the stairs and you’ll discover three more bedrooms, two of which have king beds and one, a twin bedroom. All have en suite bathrooms, too, and one of the king bedrooms has a bath with spectacular lake views, and another has a balcony. All the bedrooms are understated in decor, giving them a relaxed vibe that will certainly help you enjoy your nighttime slumber.
The basement has a garage for four cars, another bathroom and a laundry room.
Villa Exterior
Villa Sofia sits on a hill, which gives its guests a terrific vantage point from which to enjoy the wondrous sight that is Lake Como.
This chic villa is all about space and comfort, and you’ll see this in its outdoor areas too. There’s a covered terrace extending from the villa’s living room, and here you’ll get to enjoy the fresh air and magnificent views while enjoying a meal, going for a round or two of table football, or just plain relaxing. Take a few steps down the lawn and go for a dip in the Jacuzzi where you can almost peer over the edge towards the lake and its surroundings.
All around the villa is an expansive lawn dotted with trees, giving you a tranquil spot and the little ones a lot of space for fun and games. A few steps down from the main terrace is a deck furnished with loungers, where you can soak up the sun while taking in the dazzling views. Or, if you’d rather stay cool, you can just go for a swim in the pool instead.
